Celina was raised and trained in Europe.
When she first came to the United States, she spoke little English, but her skills won her immediate employment. There was quick recognition of her work, resulting in many clients who returned to her regularly and who recommended her to others. While she was delighted at this confirmation that her knowledge was universally applicable, she also found much to admire in American ways of doing things. It was at this point that Celina conceived and developed the plan that resulted in the first CELINA salon opening in 1979.
Celina personally selected and trained all of her employees so that the methods that had made her successful would be consistently used. The business grew steadily because of Celina’s skill, the atmosphere she created and because of sound marketing and business management practices.
